Intro
I began my career as a young man while living in North Carolina after receiving an old manual focus Minolta camera from a friend. I was raised in rural New York, lived and worked in the Antarctic, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona and Maine. Over the years my style, equipment and outlook has evolved, and my interests have broadened as each new challenge taught me something more about photography and a lot about life. My love of the outdoors continues to focus my energy on natural subjects, but over the years my love for portrait photography has grown as I have realized the joy that my photography brings to others.
My approach to photographing human subjects starts with a conversation about what you want. There’s an artist in all of us and with your ideas and my camera we can create something really cool together. Have a favorite place? Bring me there. Are you more comfortable at home? Let’s shoot there. Have you ever wanted to capture the way your special someone holds your hand just so?...
Close your eyes and think about how you want to remember your wedding, your love, your newborn, your Life.
Pricing Information for Photography
I have never been a fan of standard pricing because I don’t feel like my photography is standard and you shouldn't feel like your memories should have to be either. Every couple and family has different needs and I like to accommodate that. Generally pricing ranges from $125 for an hour long session to $2500 for an all day wedding, reception, and private session before the “big day”. I have done these private sessions with couples before their weddings and they always seem to be their favorite photographs. Just you and your love… no stress, no distractions.
*You will receive a CD or DVD of your photos for sharing with friends, emailing, or posting on your favorite social networking site. These digital files are not suitable for quality prints.
Pricing Information for Prints
Print pricing is a bit easier to keep standard as printing is not as variable in nature. The prints I offer are printed to archival standards and the quality and longevity of these prints are second-to-none. Some photographers like to impose a “minimum purchase” on photographs, my thought is that it’s 2010 and 99% of folks keep their photographs in a digital format anyway. BUT, if you do find that you would like a high-quality printed photograph for yourself or someone else I am sure the cost of prints won’t make you cringe. (They are much lower in comparison to many other photographers.)It is my belief that different styles and subjects represent themselves better on specific photographic papers. I can make these recommendations to you unless you already have a preference.

I currently do not offer leather bound books or proof books as many of them can be quite cost prohibitive for you. If you would like to learn more about these options we can discuss it in person. In the end I will give you what you want… remember?
